Submitted Release

Art-pop band Midnight Snack will be performing live at an outdoor concert this Sunday May 7 at 6 p.m. at the Stage in Collinsville .

The band will be making this stop as part of its mini tour of the eastern US to promote their latest album “Child’s Eyes.” The band will be heading north from their present home in Asheville N.C. with shows from Tennessee to Boston. The Collinsville concert will be their only stop in Connecticut.

Midnight Snack was started by Harwinton natives and brothers Jack Victor (vocals, drums) and Mike Johnson (guitar/synth). The band expanded when they met at Berklee College of Music in Boston through the addition of classmates Peter Brownlee (bass) and Zack Kardon (guitar), as well as old friend, Katie Richter (vocals, trumpet).

Jack Victor takes an autobiographical approach with his lyrics and the band supports his sentiments with lush, rhythmic arrangements. “Child’s Eyes” is available for download on Bandcamp, iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and others.

The show starts at 6 p.m. at the outdoor stage is located on Main Street in Collinsville right next to LaSalle Market.
