Canton Hosts Ceremonial EV Plug-In

P1030307 The town hosted a ceremonial “first plug-in” for its electric vehicle charging station Thursday afternoon.

To help the town celebrate the occasion, Judi Friedman, Canton resident and chairperson for People’s Action for Clean Energy, brought her electric vehicle to the Town Hall Parking lot for what town officials believe was the first plug in.

“We’re happy to have Canton be part of the state’s clean energy goals and promoted range confidence,” said Matt Stone, chairman of the town’s energy committee. “Hopefully this is the first of many.” … Continue Reading
