A restaurant, brewpub, commercial business, office space, a boutique hotel, public river access and a mix of housing types are all part of a plan to redevelop the former Collins Company factory complex.
Saturday morning, a group of area businessmen hoping to secure funding to purchase and redevelop the site led a tour of the complex. The group has some preliminary approvals in place and wanted to give the Planning and Zoning Commission an update on its plans. The tour was an officially posted meeting and included on the town and Canton Compass calendars.
Since 2010 real estate developer R. Michael Goman, broker and Realty Works owner Julius Fialkiewicz and commercial real estate broker Rich Correia have been working on the project.
