The Prisms World Tour comes to Canton High School on Saturday night and will involve a multicultural show of music, lighting and multi-media.

“The Prisms World Tour unites all our cultures,” said Canton High senior Zach Oliver, who is co-producing the show with classmate Mia Tuccillo.

“It transcends language, barriers and oceans,” Tuccillo added. “We can bring all these cultures together in one auditorium.”

The two estimate that approximately 200 students in all are involved in the production. There will be a host of world music on the stage – including a tribute to the late David Bowie, complete with slideshow– posters, a percussion display, special lighting and much more.

“It’s not just the music, which makes it very cool,” Tuccillo said. “It’s a production.”

“It enhances the theme,” Oliver added.

The show takes place in the Canton High School auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students and seniors. Canton Parents for Music will host a basket auction at the show.
