Canton Residents Named to Spring 2016 Goodwin College Dean’s List

EAST HARTFORD, CT — Goodwin College announces that 1010 students achieved Dean’s List status for the Spring 2016 session. The following Canton students were among those honored.

Jane Rose Makes Goodwin College President’s List for Spring 2016 

EAST HARTFORD, CT — Canton resident Jane Rose has achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average at Goodwin College for the Spring 2016 session, earning a spot on the elite President’s List.

Bryan Demarco Named to Seton Hall Dean’s List

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ (06/17/2016)– Seton Hall University is pleased to announce that Bryan Demarco of Collinsville, qualified for the Spring 2016 Dean’s List. To make Dean’s List, students must have at least a 3.4 GPA and can get no grade lower than a C.

Emily Guersch Named to Wheaton College Dean’s List for Spring 2016 Semester 

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton College student Emily Guersch of Collinsville was named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2016 semester.

Walter Dylag of Canton Made the SUNY Canton President’s List 

CANTON, NY — Walter T. Dylag, a SUNY Canton Civil and Environmental Engineering Technology major from Canton, CT, 06019 made the President’s List for the spring 2016 semester. Dylag is a 2015 of Canton High School.

Jacqueline Grabowski named to the University of Rhode Island’s Spring 2016 Dean’s List 

KINGSTON, RI (06/10/2016)– The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 4,986 undergraduates have qualified for the Spring 2016 Dean’s List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island’s cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, other states and 25 countries.

Jacqueline Michelle Grabowski of Canton was among those named to the Dean’s List.

Carrie Hefler Named to Spring 2016 Dean’s List at Stonehill College 

EASTON, MA — Canton resident Carrie A. Hefler, a member of the Class of 2016, has been named to the Spring 2016 Dean’s List at Stonehill College in Easton, Mass.

Hefler is majoring in Education & American Studies.

Eastern Connecticut State University Students Named to Spring 2016 Dean’s List

WILLIMANTIC, CT — Eastern Connecticut State University recently released the names of full-time students who were named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2016 semester.

  • Emily Chouinard ’18 of Collinsville was named to the Dean’s List. Chouinard’s major is Business Administration.
  • Lillian Hyde ’17 of Collinsville was named to the Dean’s List. Hyde’s major is Biology.
  • Steven McFetridge ’17 of Canton was named to the Dean’s List. McFetridge’s major is Biology.
  • Kaitlyn Robitaille ’16 of Collinsville was named to the Dean’s List. Robitaille’s major is English.

Keene State Announces the 2016 Spring Dean’s List

KEENE, NH (05/23/2016)– Keene State College is pleased to announce that 1,323 students have been named to the spring 2016 dean’s list. To qualify for the dean’s list, Keene State College undergraduate students must be enrolled in a degree program, and must have completed a minimum of six credit hours in the semester, receiving no failing or incomplete grades. Students must achieve a 3.5 or higher grade point average, on a 4.0 scale to earn dean’s list honors. The following Canton students made the list

Tunxis Digital Photography Students Receive Certificates 

Tunxis Workforce Development and Continuing Education held a recognition ceremony recently for the first six recipients of its new, non-credit Creative Photography Certificate.

A collection of photography the students completed during the series of courses was on display during the celebration. “I was really impressed by the artistic talent of these student photographers, and hope this is just the beginning of their creative pursuits, wherever this takes them,” said Tunxis President Cathryn L. Addy, Ph.D.

Among those to receive a certificate was Barbara DeLoureiro of Canton.
