The 55th Annual Children’s Fair was held at Cherry Brook Primary School on Friday, June 3rd. The fair was a HUGE success! The event was well-attended by Cherry Brook families and the Canton community. Fairgoers enjoyed food, music (provided by Cherry Brook principal, Andy Robbin), games, prizes, bounce houses, a bike race and more. For the Touch-A-Truck portion of the fair, various vehicles were offered by the Canton Fire & EMS and Police Departments, the Department of Public Works, Lippincott Vans and Precision Tree Service.

The Cherry Brook PTO would like to thank all of the volunteers and organizations who helped at the fair, especially: Stop & Shop of Simsbury, Unionville & Granby, Cake Gypsy, Can It Be Gluten Free, Jeannine Fundraisers, McDonald’s of Canton, The Little Green Tambourine, the Farmington Valley YMCA, Mandell JCC, the Canton Rotary Club,Canton Parks & Recreation Department, Canton Warriors Football, Canton Youth Lacrosse, and the students from several Canton High School clubs.

The PTO raised more than $10,000 for the school and will determine how these funds will be redirected back into the school to benefit our children.

Katie Lucca, Rebecca Briggs, Co-Chairs.
