COLLINSVILLE — America the Beautiful Country store has officially tweaked its address, moving one door over in the village.

The store, which first opened in February of 2013, is now located at 100A Main St. The new space, at some 1,100 square feet, is nearly twice as large, features more natural light and is located right on the corner off of town hall parking lot, adding increased visibility.

Kellee Abramczyk, who co-owns the store with Greg Wasoka, said she is excited and thankful about the improvements her landlords recently made to the space as well as other changes downtown, such as the streetscape and newly improved spaces for other businesses, including Yoga Center of Collinsville and Rootz Organic Hair Salon.

“I’m just thrilled to be part of all the changes that are going on in downtown Collinsville,” she said.

This past summer, the owners of what is listed on town records as 104 Main Street renovated the space after choosing not to renew the lease for Downright Music and Art (covered in this previous story).

In addition to interior changes, the outside of the storefront was decorated with new windows and new stone work.

Much of the work was done by Scott Kaminski, who along with Eileen O’Connor-Kaminski is a member of Rugen Realty, LLC, which owns the building.

Wasoka said they’ve done a beautiful job.

“They’ve done so many improvements to their building,” Wasoka said, adding that the new location is handicapped accessible.

The store specializes in Amish made furniture but the extra room has allowed the owners to not only to display more of those offerings but also expand its lines of home goods, essential oils, Goat Boy, soaps, candles, and men’s personal health care items.

America the Beautiful is open six days a week.

  • Tuesday – Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Friday – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
